PickPen® magnetic tools spearhead a new approach to magnetic particle separation. Instead of immobilizing the magnetic particles and then removing the surrounding liquid, PickPen is used to lift the particles directly out of the liquid. The particles can thus be moved rapidly and effortlessly from one stage of the experiment to the next.

PickPen magnetic tools are hand-held - you carry the sample yourself from one stage of the assay to the next. You can see the sample at all times and have full control of the process.

As well as saving time PickPen provides greater flexibility. Users are free to choose vessels and formats to suit their work, and smaller sample volumes can be handled. Extremely gentle handling is possible, and long-stranded DNA samples can be purified with minimized shearing.

To further speed your work there is now an 8-magnet version of PickPen®. With this you can process samples from microplates a whole row at a time.
