QuickPick™ Ready-to-use kits

QuickPick DNA ready-to-use kits are optimized for constant sample volumes to be used with the PickPen 1-M and PickPen 8-M magnetic tools. These ready-to-use kits contain reagents and consumables needed for the purification. Plant DNA and plasmid DNA kits are available in three kit sizes: 8, 48 and 96 preparations. DNA Fragment kit is available in 24 and 3x96 preparations.

QuickPick™ Scalable kits

QuickPick™ DNA and mRNA scalable kits can be used for variable sample sizes. The sample volumes may be scaled up and down, giving the yield of high-quality product appropriate for the intended downstream application.

Bio-Nobile Plant DNA purification solutions

Purify DNA from a comprehensive range of plant species with QuickPick Plant DNA reagents. High quality DNA can be extracted from different sample materials eg. leaf, seed or root.
DNA purified using QuickPick Plant DNA reagents typically show an approximate size of 20-30 kbp which is suitable for several downstream applications such as PCR, sequencing, RE digestion and cloning. Increasing the sample amount will lead to increasing yield.

Bio-Nobile gDNA purification solutions

The QuickPick gDNA kit is universal and suitable for purifying genomic DNA from a wide variety of starting materials such as human and animal blood, buffy coat, leukocytes, hair, saliva, cultured cells, tissue, swap, buccal cells, urine and bacteria. DNA purified using QuickPick gDNA reagents show a recovery of at least 30 kbp which is suitable for all typical downstream applications, including: PCR, sequencing, RE digestion and cloning.

Bio-Nobile DNA Fragment purification solutions

Use QuickPick DNA Fragment kit for simple and quick purification of DNA fragments from gel or liquid solutions. The kit works well both with standard and low-melting agarose gels in TAE and TBE buffer. There is no limit for the weight of the gel piece in the manual protocol.

Ethanol traces in the elution buffer is a common problem in DNA fragment purification methods. A unique and proprietary DipWash™ method made possible by the PickPen technology is used in the QuickPick purification procedure to eliminate this problem. During the DipWash process the magnetic particles are not released from the PickPen tool, instead a few dips in the Wash Buffer is enough to rinse the ethanol away. The method is rapid and easy to use and guarantees the recovery of high quality DNA.

Bio-Nobile Plasmid DNA purification solutions

QuickPick Plasmid DNA kits provide fast and simple purification of plasmid DNA from bacterial cells. The purification protocol is based on a modified alkaline lysis procedure followed by magnetic purification of the plasmid. The plasmid DNA purified by the QuickPick Plasmid DNA kit is ready for downstream applications such as DNA sequencing, transformation, PCR and cloning.

Bio-Nobile mRNA purification solutions

Using QuickPick SML mRNA kits, you can enjoy all of the benefits of the PickPen® method and purify high quality mRNA directly in a rapid 10-minute protocol. QuickPick SML mRNA purification kits provide a fast and simple means of purifying poly-A(+) mRNA from cells, total RNA and animal or plant tissues. The purified mRNA can be used for down-stream applications such as RT-PCR, real-time PCR, cDNA libraries and microarray analyses.

100% recovery is obtained by using solid phase elution and amplifying mRNA directly from magnetic particles suspended in suitable buffer.
